Beast for LightSpeed 3.1

Version 2.0.5 of the Gamebryo LightSpeed 3.1 integration now available

The Beast LightSpeed integration allows artists to create high-quality global illumination lightmaps directly from within the game editor. Artists automatically get natural effects such as color bounces, realistic nuances in the shadows and soft shadows from the light sources, while still having great control over the end result. The new version 2.0.5 is now available.

New features:

Support for HDR light maps when using RNM. This makes the lighting behave right when over exposing the lighting.

An initial release of the light probe system to let dynamic objects get properly lit by baked light contributions.


How to get your hands on it:

To test drive the most powerful lighting technology in the industry and to get access to Beast for Gamebryo LightSpeed 3.1, please request an evaluation license
here.  (Make sure you write Gamebryo LightSpeed 3.1 as the game engine, there are separate packages for earlier versions)
